Day 9: Alpine Meadows
Andy and I took advantage of the (wet) 12-18″ of snow at Alpine Meadows, though it was, um, wet. And heavy. And wet. The temps barely got below freezing, so while the drive up included some of the hardest rain I have ever seen in California, unfortunately we didn’t get a lot of actually precip from it.
I took a pretty big digger after trying to change the helmet cam around in my hand while riding, and, incidentally, not paying attention to where I was going. At least there was enough snow it was no big deal, and I seem to be plenty amused by it, despite having snow up my nose and in my mouth.
